A Slide Latch Kit is used by race and rally teams to hold things like light pods onto cars. A barrel is attached to the hood of a car and the slide latch itself is riveted to the part, like a light pod, so that it can be installed in just seconds by placing it over the barrels and then sliding the latch to secure to the barrel. Strong and quick. Many retailers just sell the latch and barrel, but we include the different and specialized pop-rivets to make installing easier.
